Britannia’s crew return for special reunion

Source: BBC Reporting Scotland

50 of Britannia’s former Royal Yachtsmen (Yotties) stepped back on board on 20 April 2009 for their own special reunion week, coinciding with the 56th anniversary of the Yacht’s launch from Clydebank.

The Yotties once again donned their overalls and picked up their tools to help with the ship’s maintenance, and gave visitors the chance to hear first-hand experiences of what life was like for the 240 crew when Britannia was in service.
