Britannia’s mast halyards renewed
One of our more unusual tasks was undertaken during October as part of Britannia’s ongoing maintenance programme. Our maintenance team fitted new halyards (ropes that hoist flags up the mast) which needed replacing due to general wear and tear.
In order to do this a crane was needed as you will see from the photo. Our Maintenance Team enjoyed their task and did a great job.
