Completion of Upper Deck Starboard Waist Refurbishment
The Starboard Waist is the deck which leads from the stern of Britannia to her bow and runs along the outside of the State Apartments.
During the last month our Maintenance Team have worked hard re-painting the whole of the Starboard Waist.
They also varnished all the handrails and scrubbed and oiled the deck.
The team also refurbished the ladder stripping it down to its various parts, repainted the handrail supports, re-varnished the wooden sides and back before re-assembling and fitting back in place.
