The Royal Deck

Royal DeckBritannia’s Royal Deck is a stunning addition to our unique evenings on board. Traditionally, the Royal Deck, one of the highest decks on board, would be covered with an awning and used by the Royal Family for cocktail parties, receptions and deck games. The historic appearance of the Royal Deck has been replicated with an awning style roof, glass walls and original teak deck.

This light and airy room, with waterfront views, seats up to 80 for dinner and can be used on its own or combined with the State Apartments to bring dining capacity up to 176 and receptions up to 380. The room also extends the after-dinner entertainment opportunities, with the exciting potential for big bands, dancing or cocktails.

The Royal Deck in use during Britannia’s serviceBritannia is owned by self-funded, registered charity The Royal Yacht Britannia Trust. All proceeds are reinvested in the Royal Yacht’s long-term maintenance and the development of the Royal Deck will further ensure the future of this ship of such historical importance.

“The experience of dining aboard Britannia was out of this world, I'm sure most of our guests will never get that opportunity again and it will provide many happy memories.”
