Travel trade

Whether you are arranging group visits by coach, air, ferry or rail, optional excursions or individual FIT programmes, we will be delighted to discuss your requirements to make organising a visit to Britannia as easy and enjoyable as possible.

As Britannia gets very busy, particularly during the summer months, please ensure your group booking is made in advance of selling your tour. By booking well in advance you can be more sure of securing your ideal date and time. We are very flexible concerning the confirmation of final numbers and will only charge for the number of people who actually visit.

Marketing support

To help you promote your visit we will be happy to send you leaflets or full colour A4 posters. We can also supply high resolution images of Britannia for use in your own promotional material.

If you would like to receive copies of our promotional flyer, available in each of our audio tour language options, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We would also be happy to arrange a familiarisation visit for you, or alternatively, visit your office and talk to you and your team about bringing groups and FITs to Britannia.

Group arrival times

When booking your group visit you will be allocated an arrival time. These times are generally at 15 minute intervals throughout the day. Please try to arrive at our Visitor Centre as close to this time as possible. You should allow at least 1½ hours for your visit (up to 2½ hours during August). If you would like to visit Britannia at a quieter time, we would suggest booking a time before 10.30am or after 2.30pm.

Visitors' book

“Our tour on May 22, 2006 was one of the best we have ever experienced. It is so gratifying to see history being carefully and lovingly preserved. The fudge from the sweet shop wasn't bad, either!”
