Unsung heroes

This week, Ruth Armstrong, our onboard photographer, has been capturing members of Britannia's team. We now have 150 staff working for the charitable trust, these are some of the people who help ensure that your visit to Britannia is a memorable one.

Some you may see when you visit and some you may not, as they are squirreling away in the offices or ensuring Britannia is kept shipshape. The photographs feature our Housekeeping team who work tirelessly to ensure the yacht looks immaculate at all times. In fact, during this photoshoot, we had to stop the camera rolling in order for them to clean up some dirt on the carpets that they noticed out of the corner of their eyes! Their attention to detail is paramount and we couldn't do it without Linda, Heather, Susan, Raymond and Matt, as well as Ricky and Ann who unfortunately couldn't make this shoot. Hours are spent by the team polishing the brass within the Engine Room to keep it as immaculately maintained and gleaming as you can see in these photos.

Our Visitor Services team are the friendly faces you meet throughout your visit. If you have a question about Britannia or about life on board, when in service, our tartan clad guides are the ones to ask! Here we have (left to right); Chris, Kenny, Roger, Amy, Carol-Ann, Elise, Anne, Susan and Moira, on the Verandah Deck. The Marketing team work in the offices on board, complete with portholes for windows! The team are responsible for promoting Britannia, as well as the website and social media accounts, so to keep up-to-date, please follow us on Twitter: @britanniayacht!
