A private celebration

You may have read our recent blog post about the range of corporate events that we host here at The Royal Yacht Britannia - but did you know we also welcome private eventson board this former floating palace?

Whether it's a special birthday celebration or a unique anniversary dinner, an evening on board Britannia is sure to be remembered by your guests forever.

You can enjoy your evening in the magnificent surroundings of the candlelit State Dining Room, or alternatively, the stunning Royal Deckoffers a more contemporary, versatile setting for your special occasion.

Britannia can be used exclusively by you and your guests and, as you would expect, the same exquisitely high standards are evident today as when she was in Royal service.
Much like our corporate events, our dedicated events team will guide you through each stage of planning and they will also be present at the event itself - ensuring you can enjoy your evening safe in the knowledge that everything is under control.

Our in-house culinary team, led by Executive Chef, Mark Alston, will create a mouth-watering menu, prepared using the finest, seasonal ingredients on board in the original Royal Galley.

But why should your evening end there? Her Majesty always had entertainment for her guests on board - and who are we to argue with tradition?

There are a range of entertainment options available for your event; from a spectacular fireworks display to The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines performing a Beat Retreat just for you and your guests.

Whatever option you decide upon, our experienced events team are there to make it happen - after all, where else could be more enchanting for your special celebration than The Royal Yacht Britannia?
