A taste of Scottish Opera this bank holiday

If you're looking for something to do this bank holiday weekend, Britannia is the perfect place to visit. This Saturday 25 May, we have a special event taking place for our visitors. Scottish Opera is bringing a taster of their latest production, 'The Pirates of Penzance', to Britannia for one day only. These bite-sized performances condense the fun-filled Gilbert & Sullivan classic into 20 minutes, using a singer, storyteller, two musicians and colourful illustrations to tell the story.

The performances will take place at 12pm and 2pm from the quayside. Please see Scottish Opera's website for more details on the show. Whether you're planning a full day at Britannia this weekend, or just have an hour or two to spare, we have something for everyone. See the 'what to do' page on our website to help plan your visit this bank holiday. Pirates of Penzance Flyer
