Craftsmen at work

The Maintenance team has been busy working with timber that came in last week. This is being made into stability pads for the Fast Motor Launches and also new chairs for the Royal Chart Room. Here you see the process of planing, routering and sanding to ensure the thickness of the wood is perfect before it is crafted into the finished article. Ruth also caught up with various tasks around the ship, from adding chrome treads to preserve steps, to painting around old electrical boxes.
