Bloodhound is lifted out the water for maintenance work

It was a real group effort this week as the current team worked alongside former Royal Yachtsmen to lift Royal Racing Yacht Bloodhound out of the water for maintenance work.

A giant crane was on sight to lift her into a cradle on the quayside. You can see the process in the gallery below. The crane also came in very handy as rope needed to be removed from a propeller on one of Britannia's Fast Motor Launches (FML's).
