Easter Aboard Britannia 2016

Are you looking for things to do in Edinburgh this Easter? Why not visit Britannia, Scotland’s best visitor attraction! As always, we love preparing for the holiday season and Easter is no exception.

To coincide with the school holidays, from the 21 March – 17 April you can take part in our Yottie Bear Treasure Hunt where Britannia toy bears will be hiding in various locations throughout the ship for you to spot. The whole family can join in so keep a look out and, at the end of your tour, receive a free treat. Keep an eye on our social media channels for a sneak peek as to where they might be hiding.

Something to tempt your taste buds? The Royal Deck Tea Room is a beautiful location to relax and take in the waterfront views whilst the younger ones can enjoy our range of delicious milkshakes and cakes. Our Easter cupcakes will also make a return this year, made in the Royal Galley by our Executive Pastry Chef, Stephen, and Britannia’s Baker, Victoria. Follow our Weekly ‘Snaps’ to see the fantastic cupcakes come to life.

The Royal Yacht Britannia is situated in Leith, Edinburgh, and is a family friendly destination to explore throughout the Easter weekend or school holidays. If you’d like to find out more, read our blog all about the various restaurants in Leith, some great shopping ideas and historical sightseeing.
