Free annual pass

Visit Britannia and the Royal Deck Tea Room FREE for one year for the same cost of only one ticket

To take advantage of this great offer, when you visit Britannia simply ask at the Ticket Desk to “donate” an amount that is at least equal to the ticket price that applies to you and you will be entitled to a FREE annual pass. This offer also applies to accompanying family members. The donation goes to The Royal Yacht Britannia Trust (a charity registered in Scotland SC028070) and helps to preserve this magnificent ship for future generations.

Also, if you show your annual pass in our Gift Shop, you will be entitled to 10% discount on your purchases (cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer).

Example

For one adult to get a free annual pass, you would need to donate £10.50 (the equivalent to our 2010 adult ticket price) and then you can visit as many times as you like free of charge. We will give you a form to complete and return to us with a photograph, so we can recognise you the next time you visit.

Gift Aid

If you can, please GIFT AID your donation, it makes an enormous difference to our work. Gift Aid is a simple and effective way to give to charity and it allows The Royal Yacht Britannia Trust to claim back almost a third more on top of your donation if you are a UK tax-payer.

If you are a UK tax-payer, a Gift Aid donation will:

  • Help our maritime heritage charity to preserve Britannia
  • Cost you nothing extra
  • Enable us to claim back 28p from the Inland Revenue for every £1 you give

Please see the Inland Revenue website for more information about the Gift Aid scheme www.hmrc.gov.uk/charities

As well as enjoying another tour of Britannia,  you can use your annual pass to come back again and again to enjoy our Royal Deck Tea Room.

Visitors' book

“A friend recommended that my wife and I visit the Royal Yacht Britannia whilst we were in Edinburgh. This we did and enjoyed it tremendously. It really gave us an insight to how it was to serve on the Yacht. Whatever your views are on the Monarchy, this is a piece of British history and should not be missed.”
