Photography has always played an important role on Britannia. While she was in service, there was always a 'Yottie' appointed, nicknamed 'Snaps', to take photographs of life on board the Royal Yacht.
In keeping with this tradition, we now have our own Photographer in Residence, Ruth Armstrong, who has been capturing our very own Weekly 'Snaps' - a collection of snapshots of life around the ship today.

Junior Sous Chef, Michal, prepares casings, prior to adding tempered chocolate to make petits fours.
Kacper, Kitchen Assistant, and Stephen, Executive Pastry Chef, add the filling and chocolate to each case.
The Wardroom Anteroom features a framed gold button which came from Admiral Nelson’s coat. The button is over 200 years old.
When in Royal service, ‘Wombat Tennis’ was a memorable game played in the Officers’ Wardroom. The soft toy wombat was thrown up into the ceiling fan and the game would commence.
Toast Scotland’s national bard this Robert Burns Day with our 12 year old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
