Educational visits
Whether you are arranging a school visit, a college field trip or a language school activity we would be delighted to help you arrange your visit. We aim to make organising a visit to Britannia as easy as possible and with our local knowledge we can offer excellent advice on planning your visit.
A visit to The Royal Yacht Britannia will bring history to life for your educational group and stimulate their imagination. Britannia will provide inspiration on a number of topics, including geography, politics and maritime history. The handset tour is available in a wide range of languages, giving students a unique opportunity to practice their language skills. A special audio tour has also been designed for those with learning difficulties.
Supervising your group
With such an important historical attraction it is essential that all educational groups are supervised by responsible adults travelling with the group. To support this we offer free adult supervisor places with every educational group. One adult supervisor place is free for every 10 paying students. Supervision is vital for the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to Britannia.
If you would like a preview of what Britannia has to offer please, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to arrange a complimentary ticket and a meeting to discuss your plans. We can also supply you with a written script of our audio tour to help make your planning as easy as possible.
Leaflet and posters
To help you promote your visit we will be happy to send you leaflets or full colour A4 posters. We can also supply high resolution images of Britannia for use in your own promotional material.

Dropping off and collecting your group
There is a convenient coach drop off/pick up area beside the main entrance to Ocean Terminal and a large, free coach park just opposite.
Please print the arrival procedures and directions information (35.9Kb .pdf) for your driver. Alternatively, we can post copies of this leaflet to you.

Admission prices for Britannia are VAT exempt.

Payment
Full payment for your group can be made in advance by credit card or cheque once you have confirmed your final numbers.
Tickets
Unless otherwise arranged, tickets will be ready for collection at our Visitor Centre ticket desk on the second floor of Ocean Terminal.
