With a wealth of experience in some of the UK's most exclusive hotels and venues, our Sommelier, Bruce McBride joined Britannia in 2006 from the Orient Express Northern Belle.
As a member of the Court of Master Sommeliers, Bruce is on hand to help our guests select the perfect wines and Champagnes to accompany their chosen menu when dining on board. Our daytime visitors can also enjoy a special selection of wines and Champagnes chosen by Bruce for our Royal Deck Tea Room.
Every month, we will be featuring a wine tasting and we are delighted to welcome you to this first edition! Moët & Chandon Imperial is the perfect Champagne to complement many of our seafood dishes from our evening menus. Dishes such as cured organic Shetland salmon with a saffron and shellfish dressing or crab and lobster tortellini with a shellfish sauce.
