Celebrating our best year since opening!

We were thrilled to welcome aboard 308,906 visitors from around the world in 2015, making it our best since our opening year in 1999.

Chief Executive, Bob Downie was delighted with the news, “This growth in our visitor numbers is a great tribute to our fantastic staff, and how hard they work to provide the highest levels of customer experience, because the true test of any great organisation is the consistency of their performance, as seen through the eyes of their customers”.

We hope you enjoy a peek at some of the high points and behind the scenes photos from last year in our Britannia 2015 Year in Pictures’ video. Highlights include the launch of National Disabled Access Day aboard Britannia, Yotties’ Week, Prince Philip’s former royal racing yacht Bloodhound’s annual summer charter to the Western Isles and, of course, our fabulous visitors who have made this achievement possible.

And 2016 promises to be very exciting! We’ll be celebrating Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th Birthday Year, in style, with events taking place on Thursday, 21st April and Sunday, 12th June to toast this momentous occasion, as well as a host of activities throughout the year.

Stepping aboard The Queen’s former floating palace, you can walk in the footsteps of royalty and see where The Queen entertained world leaders and celebrities from across the world.  Visit the Royal Apartments and discover for yourself why this was the one place she could truly relax.

Visit us in 2016 and be a part of what promises to be another magical year aboard The Royal Yacht. Follow our What’s On page and social media channels to keep up to date with all our fantastic news and information!
