Celebrate Hogmanay in style aboard The Royal Yacht Britannia and Fingal

Step aboard two iconic ships, The Royal Yacht Britannia and Fingal, for the Hogmanay of a lifetime!

Spend two nights of unrivalled luxury on Fingal, Scotland’s first floating hotel, and celebrate the start of a new decade in style. This former Northern Lighthouse tender, now owned by The Royal Yacht Britannia, has been transformed into a stunning unique hotel and retains many of the original features within.

Begin your time on board Fingal with a Champagne Afternoon Tea in The Lighthouse Bar before retreating to your cabin to prepare for a sumptuous dinner on board Her Majesty The Queen’s former floating palace, The Royal Yacht Britannia, berthed just a few moments away.

Following a Champagne reception and private guided tour of the State Apartments, Britannia’s butlers will welcome you into the State Dining Room for a delicious four-course dinner with wines selected by our Sommelier. During Royal service, Her Majesty would have a Beating of the Retreat at the end of State occasions held on board. Tonight you will experience this unique musical finale to your evening with a spectacular performance on the quayside, before being chauffeured back to Fingal for your first night on board.

Rise and shine on the last day of the year with a hearty breakfast in The Lighthouse Bar, and return for a light lunch in the afternoon, leaving room for your evening of decadence ahead!

Descend the sweeping staircase into Fingal’s magnificent ballroom and begin the Hogmanay celebrations with a Champagne and canapé reception, followed by a five course dinner. Countdown the Bells with a piper to welcome in the New Year with a traditional rendition of Auld Lang Syne followed by Ceilidh dancing led by Callanish.

Retire to your cabin for your final night aboard and wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the new year ahead!

30th and 31st December - prices start from £2,500 inc VAT per couple in our Classic Cabins.
