Dining on board The Royal Yacht Britannia is a once in a lifetime experience. From artisan breads to delicate petits fours, everything is made on board in the original Royal Galleys by our talented in-house team of chefs, led by Executive Chef Mark Alston. Mark is extremely passionate about the quality and provenance of the food he serves on board and uses the very best Scottish suppliers, many of whom are Royal Warrant Holders supplying the Royal Family.

Private Dining

Our in-house team will prepare your exquisite menu on board in the original Royal Galleys using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. In addition, our in-house Sommeliers will pair the food with the finest wines. We also offer a range of entertainment options to delight you and your guests. Choose from a variety of Royal function rooms including the State Dining Room, the Officers’ Wardroom or the Royal Deck. Our dinner options can cater from between 8 to 196 guests.


Private Drinks Reception

Host your own drinks reception for up to 500 people aboard Edinburgh's most exclusive five-star venue. Britannia’s butlers will serve the finest Champagne and wine, specially selected by our Sommeliers, and our team of talented chefs will create delectable canapés. The whole Yacht will be yours for the evening, so feel free to explore the decks at your leisure with guides on hand to answer questions and regale fascinating stories of Royal life on board.
