A rare opportunity has arisen to join the team at The Royal Yacht Britannia, an award-winning attraction and exclusive evening events venue in Edinburgh. This former floating palace of Queen Elizabeth II provides an exceptional experience for visitors and a truly special place to work. 

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our welcoming team and help ensure that Britannia continues to be a must-visit attraction and our sister ship Fingal, Scotland’s only luxury floating hotel, continues to be the No.1 UK ’One of a Kind’ Hotel (Tripadvisor). 

The role is based in the Marketing team, answering incoming calls from visitors or transferring calls to the appropriate departments. As the first point of contact for Britannia, as a ‘voice of Britannia’, you must be professional, enthusiastic, and friendly. Excellent verbal and written English skills required.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Replying to all Tripadvisor, Google and ResDiary reviews.

  • Proofreading and printing quarterly Board Reports.

  • Printing menus for the Tearoom, Events and Fingal.

  • Assisting departments with administrative tasks.

  • Processing Annual Passes.

  • Processing internal and external mail.

  • Helping the Events department with menus, table plans and invitations.

  • Monitoring stationery stock levels and ordering.
