Weekly Snaps
26 December 2025
Photography has always played an important role on Britannia. While she was in service, there was always a 'Yottie' appointed, nicknamed 'Snaps', to take photographs of life on board the Royal Yacht.
In keeping with this tradition, we now have our own Photographer in Residence, who has been capturing our very own Weekly 'Snaps' - a collection of snapshots of life around the ship today.
This week we share our festive highlights from 2025.

Britannia’s Shop had lovely options for Christmas gifts, from Royal, Scottish, and nautical treasures.

The Shop had a great range of Royal decorations, such as this luxurious green glass King Charles III bauble, featuring a golden glitter crown design and decorative snowflake accents.
As part of the Tearoom’s festive cream tea, this iced cinnamon and mincemeat scone, paired with a rich brandy clotted cream, was a delicious seasonal treat.
