3 February 2023 Doddie Aid Regatta
Photography has always played an important role on Britannia. While she was in service, there was always a 'Yottie' appointed, nicknamed 'Snaps', to take photographs of life on board the Royal Yacht.
This week The Royal Yacht Britannia was host to the flagship fundraising event for Doddie Aid, and all ticket sales during the duration of the rowing event were given to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation to help fund research into MND.
Eight teams of celebrity rowers took part in a challenge to see which team could row the furthest in three hours. Famous sporting faces from rugby, Olympians, professional rowers and sportsmen alongside broadcasting personalities battled it out to be the best.
