Photography has always played an important role on Britannia. While she was in service, there was always a 'Yottie' appointed, nicknamed 'Snaps', to take photographs of life on board the Royal Yacht.
In keeping with this tradition, we now have our own Photographer in Residence, who has been capturing our very own Weekly 'Snaps' - a collection of snapshots of life around the ship today.
Due to construction work at Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, Britannia has been closed this week. As part of this redevelopment, Britannia will also be gaining a new Visitor Centre and Gift Shop which will involve us operating out of temporary accommodation whilst these new facilities are being created. Our temporary entrance, where visitors start their tour, and Gift Shop are now open on the Ground Floor of Ocean Terminal.

The Royal Yacht Britannia's Bell is the only place on the ship where you will find the ship's name. Lynne, Housekeeper, gives it a gleaming shine.
